MBSE Architect

Job Description:

XD Innovation is seeking a highly skilled MBSE Architect with experience in CATIA Magic to join our team and lead the development and implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions for our clients in the engineering and systems engineering sectors. The MBSE Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying systems engineering models and methodologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product development and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Model Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their systems engineering needs and design MBSE models using CATIA Magic to represent complex systems and processes.
  • 2.Methodology Development: Define and implement MBSE methodologies, standards, and best practices to guide systems engineering efforts and ensure consistency across projects.
  • 3. Requirements Management: Manage and trace system requirements using MBSE tools and techniques, particularly CATIA Magic, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • 4. System Design and Integration: Create and maintain system architecture and design models in CATIA Magic, considering various components, interfaces, and integration points.
  • 5. Verification and Validation: Develop MBSE-based verification and validation processes using CATIA Magic to ensure that systems meet defined requirements and perform effectively.
  • 6. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of MBSE models created with CATIA Magic and design decisions for reference and auditing purposes.
  • 7. Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends in MBSE, systems engineering, modeling tools, and specifically CATIA Magic, to provide guidance on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Qualifications:
  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2. Proven experience as an MBSE Architect with a strong background in CATIA Magic, including 5 of experience working with this tool.
  • 3. Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • 4. Proficiency in using CATIA Magic for systems modeling and analysis.
  • 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • 6. Strong project management skills and experience leading systems engineering projects.
  • 7. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
