3DX Infrastructure Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled 3DX Infrastructure Architect to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions for our clients based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systèmes. As a 3DX Infrastructure Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, scalability, and security of our clients’ PLM environments.

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their PLM infrastructure requirements and design scalable, efficient, and secure 3DX infrastructure solutions.
  • 2. System Implementation: Oversee the deployment of 3DX infrastructure, ensuring it meets the performance and security requirements of the PLM environment.
  • 3. Optimization Continuously assess and optimize 3DX infrastructure to ensure efficient operation and resource utilization.
  • 4. Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PLM systems.
  • 5. Integration: Work closely with PLM application developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration between 3DX infrastructure components and the PLM software.
  • 6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations and changes for reference and auditing purposes.
  • 7. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in infrastructure design and technology to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Qualifications:

  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2. Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, with at least 10 of experience working with 3DX infrastructure and PLM systems.
  • 3. Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies and best practices, including virtualization, cloud computing, and network design.
  • 4. Experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform and PLM software is highly desirable.
  • 5. Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
  • 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • 7. Strong project management skills and the ability to lead infrastructure implementation projects.
  • 8. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
